This bright and colorful handmade patchwork scrap quilt measuring 40" square would be perfect as a lap quilt or for the nursery for either a boy or a girl; newborn, infant or toddler.(FYI: crib mattress is 27' by 52").
It was constructed using over 250 individual fabric patches of 100% cotton designer batik fabrics as well as 100% cotton fabric by Moda featuring the traditional Hope in Hartford quilt block in all colors(yellow, orange, red, pink, blue, aqua, green and purple).
The quilt top, with blocks surrounded by a scrappy piano key border, is machine pieced.
A layer of cotton batting in the middle adds warmth to the quilt.
The backing fabric made of two pieced ultra-soft 100% quality cotton flannel fabrics in yellow and white star prints.
A scrappy yellow batik mitered double-fold binding has been added for durability.
Easy care-machine wash(cold) and dry(gentle cycle).
