Item Description
Brand: Foil Wheels (New Zealand based)
Rims: 38mm deep carbon rims, 25mm external width. Tubular rim channel.
Spokes: Sapim CX-Ray
Hubs: DT Swiss 240s Straightpull hubs.
Freehub:
Pictured with a Campagnolo freehub. May be able to swap for Shimano/Sram 11-speed or Sram XDR 12-speed freehub at buyer's request - message with requests before purchasing.
Axle spacing: Front QR x 100mm, Rear QR x 130mm.
Cosmetic Condition: These wheels came off a sample bike and are similar condition to a new-take-off wheelset. No scratches, chips, or dings to point out.
Brake track condition:
Brake tracks show little to no wear.
Freehub condition: No
cassette bite on the freehub
Bearing condition:
The bearings are smooth in both hubs (At CyclingUpgrades we service or replace any rough hub or freehub bearings we encounter in the inspection and cleaning process).
Front wheel lateral runout: .2mm
Rear wheel later runout: .3mm
Weight: Front 866 grams, rear 1001 grams = 1867 grams total weight including tires and excluding skewers. Claimed manufacturer weight is 1,220 grams without tires. At approximately 300 grams per tire plus glue weight, the claimed should be close to actual.
Tires: Continental Competition 25mm tubular tires. Tires show little treadwear. Tire age and mount date unknown. Buyer to do their own inspection of tubular and glue condition to determine rideability. CyclingUpgrades does not guarantee the condition of previously glued tubular tires on wheelsets.
